History of my website
On this page I would like to document important modifications on my website. Thus perhaps also the occasional visitor sees whether there were important modifications since the last visit.

| 03/18/05 | My website is back! I was offline for serveral weeks, but now I'm using webspace at my web hoster, so all internal links will point to my domain. |
| 01/27/04 | You can reach my homepage now at "www.Schwabedissen.name". The old "www.Schwabedissen-Online.de" will be available for some more months and then probably deactivated. So please update your bookmarks! |
| 07/17/03 | Added 19 new emigrants that I found in the Online Archive of Ellis Island. |
| 06/19/01 | My research in Boesingfeld is finished, all church registers are searched through! Today I was in Preussisch Oldendorf and was able to find the missing link of some emigrants (1871 and 1873 to the United States) to the family tree! |
| 05/09/01 | We have relatives in Samoa! I was able to add nearly 50 names (descandants of Kurt Meyer zu Schwabedissen, RIN 107) to the database. In addition I received a GEDCOM file from Germany which adds 280+ descendants and relatives of Friedrich Meyer zu Schwabedissen (RIN 104) to the database. |
| 04/10/01 | I've been to the Church Office of Boesingfeld today and worked through the Death index. Unfortunately they closed when I was at the year 1875. I was able to add a lot of information and also fixed some bugs. I'm planning a new visit there soon. |
| 04/06/01 | An overview of all the emigrants known to me is finished. There were more of them than I ever expected... Still working on the description of the immigrant ships, though. |
| 02/15/01 | I added some maps of the area where most of the Schwabedissen family lived and today still lives. |
| 02/11/01 | Because of the strong support and interest of the Schwabedissens and their relatives in the USA I now have most of my site also available in English! |
| 01/23/01 | I have added all those 804 names, that can currently found through the website of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints to my database! Well, many names appeared two or more times, but the database has grown by about 450 names. In addition I was able to complete a lot of data. |
| 12/13/00 | Since today my entire website can be also searched! Look-up and result page are in English, which shouldn't be a problem for you ;-). The search function can be called from the main page. |
| 11/16/00 | I uploaded today a revised version of the family tree. Among other things now also a connection of Boesingfeld to the USA is contained and a connection to the family "Busse" from Werl near Schoetmar. Additionally I was again in the church office in Boesingfeld and searched the marriage register, in order to solve some assignment problems. Start of 2001 I will then research the register of deaths, in order to complete still missing data. |
| 08/06/00 | Uploaded a new version of the family tree. This version was created using the program PAF 4.0 which I'm also using now to maintain my database. In addition there's now also a graphical presentation of the family tree for those of you that have JAVA support enabled. |

| 09/21/99 | Received an answer from Starke-Verlag and the permission to publish extracts of the album. |
